PHARMYCIN 800
FOR POULTRY, PIGS AND CRUSTACEANS
PRESENTATION:
An 80% w/w premix of oxytetracycline HCl.
USES:
PHARMYCIN 800 is recommended for the treatment
and prevention of bacterial infections sensitive to
Oxytetracycline.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Administer via the feedingstuff or drinking water
at the following rates of use:
Poultry:
Prevention:
In feed: 200g–400g per tonne of finished feed.
In water:
Treatment:
In feed: 800g-1kg per tonne of finished feed.
In water: 100g per 600 litres of drinking water,
for 5–7 days.
Pigs:
Prevention:
In feed: In feed: 200g-400g per tonne of finished
feed.
Treatment:
In feed: 400g-600g per tonne of finished feed.
Crustaceans:
WITHDRAWAL PERIODS:
Meat – animals should not be slaughtered for
human consumption during treatment or within 14 days
of last treatment.
Prawns should not be used for human consumption during
treatment or for 400† days from date of last treatment.
PHARMACEUTICAL PRECAUTIONS:
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
Store in a cool dry place.
Protect from light.
